This delicate pink, Pinot Noir rosé has bright aromas of watermelon and crushed strawberries, with crisp, refreshing redcurrant flavours and a delightfully smooth texture and mouth-feel.

Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Alcohol: 12.5% Vol

Harvesting & Vinification: Carefully hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes were whole bunch pressed and cold settled for 48 hours prior to racking.  The juice underwent a long and slow fermentation in stainless tanks using aromatic yeasts.

Secondary Fermentation & Ageing: This wine did not go through malolactic fermentation but spent time on yeast lees to build palate weight, before bottling in spring 2023.

"Made using 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir, the 'Railway Hill' rose has a nose of pretty strawberry and preserved red cherry, with a slight hint of reductive flint. Saline and cool on the palate, ripe peach and grapefruit notes are balanced by crisp mineral acidity, followed by a peppery finish."
