Summer Open House 2024

We were absolutely delighted to see so many friendly faces and new visitors to Simpsons' Wine Estate on Saturday 6 July 2024 for our annual Summer Open House. We are so proud of these biannual events, especially as the proceeds from the ticket sales go to our chosen local charity, Demelza. Plus, we were pleased to be able to celebrate some of our amazing local partners and work with them to make the day a great success.

In addition to our exquisite English wines, we had the pleasure of pouring the range from our southern French sister estate, Domaine Sainte Rose

Our heartfelt thanks...

We are pleased and proud to announce that the total raised for Demelza from our Summer Open House Event is £755.00.

Demelza delivers extraordinary care to extraordinary children who are facing serious or life-limiting conditions, throughout Kent, South East London and East Sussex. The charity is there to support them and their families at every step – from first diagnosis and for as long as they are needed.

We would like to say a very heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone who attended and donated. We look forward to supporting Demelza again later in the year.

Celebrate Supporting Local

Additionally, we would like to extend our thanks to three fantastic local businesses, who joined our Summer Open House Event to make it even more special. The marvellous Cheese Makers of Canterbury joined in the celebrations and produced delicious platters to enjoy during the event.

Annie Brown Aromathérapie presented her boutique cosmetics, which are crafted using locally-sourced products, including lees from our winery to make her rustic soaps.

Plus, Barretts Land Rover loaned us two of their latest, luxurious four-wheel drives, so that we could offer VIP visits to our beautiful Railway Hill vineyard throughout the day. This was extra special as this particular vineyard site is not usually open to the public and guests enjoyed glasses of our Railway Hill Rosé 2022 from magnums, as Charles Simpson, Co-Founder, and Darryl Kemp, Estate Manager, explained more about the vines and the Simpsons' story.

We hope you will join us for our Winter Open House Event this November. Do sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of the page and keep an eye on our socials and Experiences page for further updates and how to book.
