This delicate pink, Pinot Noir rosé has bright aromas of watermelon and crushed strawberries, with crisp, refreshing redcurrant flavours and a delightfully smooth texture and mouth-feel.
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir Alcohol: 12.5% Vol Harvesting & Vinification: Carefully picked Pinot Noir grapes were pressed and cold settled for 48 hours prior to racking. The juice underwent a long and slow fermentation in stainless tanks using aromatic yeasts. Secondary Fermentation & Ageing: This wine did not go through malolactic fermentation but spent time on yeast lees to build palate weight, before bottling in spring 2023.
"The wine delivers a light strawberry nose with some candied fruit notes. The palate is vibrant and zesty, clean and fresh delivering pear and light red fruits. Perfect for the summer lawns of Kent." Judging Panel, International Wine Challenge "An English rosé from the North Downs of Kent, it's crisp, bright and fruity with notes of peach and stone fruits and a balanced but delicate allure. Summer was made for wines like this." John Clarke, The Independent
