Our traditional method rosé is created with exclusively estate grown Pinot Noir grapes from vineyards situated on the iconic chalk slopes of the North Downs of Kent.
Aged for 15 months on lees, Canterbury Rose is delicately pink with a fine mousse and a soft bouquet of rose petal and strawberry sorbet. A creamy, rounded texture is balanced with crisp berry flavours and a refined finish.
Created from estate grown Pinot Noir Clone 115 grapes, our traditional method blanc de noirs exemplifies English finesse and balance. The fruit was hand-picked separately over a two-week period with this particular variety selected to create a more full-bodied style owing to a slight accentuation of tannins, developing into a more luxurious mouth-feel.
The base wine underwent malolactic fermentation then spent three months in tank ageing on light lees before the wines were blended, filtered and bottled to obtain the ‘prise de mousse’. Following the bottle fermentation, the wine spent two years ageing on yeast lees prior to disgorgement in June 2019, followed by six months ageing on cork.
Burnished gold and with a delicate mousse, this wine has a luxurious, vanilla cream and fine pastry nose, with flavours of fresh Alpine strawberry, toasted brioche and a smooth elegant finish.
The Roman Road vineyard is situated on the sunny, sheltered slopes of the North Downs of Kent, the Garden of England. Exuding a true sense of place, our Roman Road Chardonnay is elegant and pure, with a distinctive mineral quality that you would expect from fruit grown on these iconic chalk soils.
This single vineyard, still white wine is created from Chardonnay grapes carefully selected for their maturity and concentration. The juice undergoes primary and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks in our state-of-the-art winery, before ageing for nine months in French oak barrels.
The Roman Road Chardonnay displays aromas of white peach and lime, with clean, citrus flavours, smooth cashew nut on the palate and subtle hints of spice and vanilla.
