The fruit was hand-picked separately over a ten day period with this particular variety selected to create a more full-bodied style owing to a slight accentuation of tannins, developing into a more luxurious mouth-feel.

Burnished gold and with a delicate mousse, this wine has a luxurious, vanilla cream and fine pastry nose, with flavours of fresh Alpine strawberry, toasted brioche and a smooth elegant finish.

Made from exclusively estate grown grapes, the Gravel Castle Chardonnay is a fresh, fruit driven and un-oaked Chardonnay, created from Burgundian still wine clones.

The Gravel Castle Chardonnay is pale gold in colour with citrus and nashi pear aromas. Refreshing tropical fruit flavours are complemented by a smooth, textured palate.

The Roman Road vineyard is situated on the sunny, sheltered slopes of the North Downs of Kent, the Garden of England. Exuding a true sense of place, our Roman Road Chardonnay is elegant and pure, with a distinctive mineral quality that you would expect from fruit grown on these iconic chalk soils.

This single vineyard, still white wine is created from Chardonnay grapes carefully selected for their maturity and concentration. The juice undergoes primary and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks in our state-of-the-art winery, before ageing for nine months in French oak barrels.

The Roman Road Chardonnay displays pineapple and apricot aromas, complemented with sweet oak, clementine and mixed spice flavours and finishing in a luxurious, textured palate.
