Simpsons Wine Estate announces the name of its first English Sparkling Wine
Simpsons Wine Estate partnered with Naked Wines in August 2016, when 1,200 Angels (Naked Wines customers) invested to aid the production of the Estate’s first English Sparkling Wine.
The Angels were invited to vote on the specific blend of their wine prior to bottling in April and last month were then tasked with choosing the name.
Simpsons Wine Estate is pleased to reveal that Beora will be the name of this upcoming English Sparkling Naked Wines release. Beora exudes a true sense of provenance since this was the name of the Saxon chief, whom the village Barham was named after.
