We are delighted to toast our tenth anniversary with the launch of the premier non-vintage Chalklands Classic Cuvée.
Three exceptional vintages were specially selected to create this blend, which was crafted in the Great British Classic Method. Since the first Chalklands release in 2019, this elegant Simpsons' style has become a sparkling sensation with wine lovers, garnering many accolades and awards. The new release comes at the perfect time to raise a glass to long-awaited summer soirées and to toast the special celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
With six vintages under our belt, we have gradually created a library of incredible quality base wines, thus allowing us to transform this flagship English sparkling wine into a non-vintage Classic Cuvée blend. We are thrilled to share this wonderful wine with you as we move into the next chapter of our exciting story...
Our intensely lime-rich chalk soil, forming part of the same chalk ridge that stretches from southern England to the French Champagne region and on to Burgundy, is without doubt the most desirable for the cultivation of the time-honoured trio of grapes renowned for producing the world’s finest still and sparkling wines.
Chalklands Classic Cuvée is made from a blend of 30% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Meunier, and 40% Pinot Noir. Each grape variety is harvested and vinified separately to enrich their unique characteristics.

Creating the non-vintage version of Chalklands has been a labour of love. Bringing together the base wines is a complicated mix of science and art, but the final result blew us away with its elegance.
Making the switch from vintage to non-vintage sparkling wines has been possible because the vines we began planting in 2014 are now hitting their stride. As we mark 20 years in wine production and 10 years in Kent, it’s a thrill to be able to toast our progress with the new incarnation of Chalklands.

With 12 - 18 months of lees ageing, Chalklands is pure gold in colour, with a delicate mousse. It has a delightfully fresh nose, with notes of crisp green apple and flint. These flavours are amplified on the palate, which has linear precision and impressive structure and length.
