This unique, still, Pinot Meunier has a rose gold hue and concentrated aromas of poached pears and toffee apple. On the palate it displays hints of salted caramel and orchard fruit compote and has a luxuriously mouth-filling texture.
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Meunier Alcohol: 12.5% Vol Harvesting & Vinification: Pinot Meunier grapes from the Railway Hill vineyard, overlooking the picturesque hamlet of Derringstone, were picked and carefully pressed. The juice settled for 48 hours before racking, underwent a long, slow primary fermentation using aromatic yeasts and completed full malolactic fermentation. Secondary Fermentation & Ageing: The wine rested over the winter months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks to build depth and palate weight before bottling in spring 2022.
