At Simpsons Wine Estate, we create fine English sparkling wines that convey a rich sense of provenance and integrity, firmly rooted in the characteristics and exquisite nuances of their iconic, chalk terroir in the North Downs of Kent. This is the first Simpsons English sparkling wine to be released from their inaugural 2016 harvest.
Created from estate grown Pinot Noir grapes, our method traditional rosé is the essence of English taste and luxury. Delicately pink with a fine mousse and a soft, rose petal and fresh strawberry sorbet nose; it has a creamy, rounded texture with crisp red berry flavours and a refined finish.

The Roman Road vineyard is situated on the sunny, sheltered slopes of the North Downs of Kent, the Garden of England. Exuding a true sense of place, our Roman Road Chardonnay is elegant and pure, with a distinctive mineral quality that you would expect from fruit grown on these iconic chalk soils.
This single vineyard, still white wine is created from Chardonnay grapes carefully selected for their maturity and concentration. The juice undergoes primary and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks in our state-of-the-art winery, before ageing for three months in French oak barrels.
The Roman Road Chardonnay 2017 displays aromas of honeysuckle and white melon, with smooth rich flavours of macadamia and vanilla pod.
This still wine has established a very exclusive, quality base for the Simpsons Wine Estate portfolio and will continue to be produced in limited quantities alongside the sparkling range.
